Trick to Learn Periodic table in 5 minutes | NEET Chemistry

Do you know all the elements of the periodic table? If you do not remember all the elements of the periodic table and if you want to remember all the elements easily, then in this article we are going to tell an easy trick to remember the complete periodic table, with the help of which you can remember all the elements in a few minutes.

The periodic table is a very important part of chemistry, which includes a total of 118 elements so far. Over time new elements are discovered and they are added to the periodic table according to their atomic number.

With the help of Hindi tricks, the complete periodic table can be remembered very easily.

We all know that the elements of the periodic table are divided into four blocks.

s block, p block, d block, and f block elements.

We will remember all these elements in increasing order of their atomic numbers within the group.

s block

Group 1 and 2 elements are placed in the s block, which includes the alkaline and alkaline earth metals.

Alkali metals come in group 1 which includes hydrogen, lithium, sodium, potassium, rubidium, cesium, and francium.

The trick is to remember these elements:

Alkaline earth metals come in group 2 which includes beryllium, magnesium, calcium, strontium, barium, and radium.

The trick is to remember these elements:

Group 2

p block

Elements from groups 13 to 17 are placed in the p block.

Elements of the boron family in group 13 include boron, aluminum, gallium, indium, and tellurium.

We can remember the elements in this way.

Elements of the carbon family in group 14 include carbon, silicon, germanium, tin, lead, and fluorobium.

The trick to remembering these elements is:

Group 14

Group 15 of the nitrogen family includes nitrogen, phosphorus, arsenic, antimony, and bismuth.

The trick to remembering them.

The oxygen family in group 16 includes oxygen, silicon, selenium, tellurium, and polonium.

We can remember these tricks.

Elements of the halogen family in group 17 include fluorine, chlorine, bromine, iodine, and astatine.

To remember them, we can again use this trick.

Elements of the inert gas family in Group 18 include helium, neon, argon, krypton, xenon, and radon.

The trick is to remember them.

d block

The d-block elements are also called transition metals and are placed in groups 3 to 12 in the periodic table.

Elements from atomic numbers 21 to 30 include Scandium, Titanium, Vanadium, Chromium, Manganese, Iron, Cobalt, Nickel, Copper, and Zinc.

There’s a trick to remembering these elements.

d block 1

Elements from atomic numbers 39 to 48 include yttrium, zirconium, niobium, molybdenum, technetium, ruthenium, rhodium, palladium, silver, and cadmium.

Here’s a trick to remember them.

d block 2

Elements from atomic numbers 59, 72 to 80 are lanthanum, hafnium, tantalum, tungsten, rhenium, osmium, iridium, platinum, gold, and mercury.

The trick to remembering them is:

d block 3

f block

The f block elements are placed in the bottom two rows of the periodic table, which include the lanthanide and actinide series.

  • The elements of the lanthanide series come with atomic numbers 58 to 71.
  • The elements of the actinide series come with atomic numbers 90 to 103.
f block

We hope that with the help of this trick, you will be able to easily remember all the elements of the periodic table.
